Bjorli is a mountain village and ski resort located in Lesja municipality, 50 km from Åndalsnes. This is considered to be one of the most snowy areas in Norway. Every year Bjorli compete in being the first ski resort that kicks off season. The ski resort has a modern ski park with one of the longest seasons for alpine skiing in Norway – from November to the end of April.
In addition to natural snow, Bjorli Skisenter has, despite its size, one of the contry’s best snowmaking plants, with 170 towers, 8 km.
Bjorli Skisenter has 11 slopes with a total length of 19.6 km, where the longest is approx 4 km.
The slopes can offer skiers a huge variety of downhill fun. There are all kinds of difficulty levels, from beginner to a challenging expert level, and possibilities of off piste and powder skiing. Bjorli Skisenter has 6 lifts, one of them a 6-seats Express chair lift, running 1860 meters, wiith a capacity of 3000 persons per hour. From this chair lift you can access the mountain tops, with great skiing possibilities, also for cross country skiing. Juniors and beginners have a ski area on their own to practice their skills and do some ski play. Two easier ski lifts are connected to this area, with a single plate to sit on that makes the uphill to a fun and safe experience.
In and around Bjorli there are more than 100 km cross country trails of high quality, with possibilities to practise advanced classic and skate technic. The trails are groomed daily, so you can enjoy fantastic skiing exploration. During Winter holiday and Easter the program at the ski resort contains a lot of ski fun and exctended activities, like a track where the youngsters can try snow mobiles designed for children.
