Fantesteinen ved Kvernagrova på Skiri i Romsdalen ligger like ved den gamle veien som er godt bevart og brukt som tursti. Her bodde “fanten” i gamle dager. Enorme steiner som er ramlet ned fra Romsdalens bratte vegger dannet ly. Det sies at trafikken var så stor her at toget hadde fast stopp utenfor steinene! Steinene blir i dag brukt til klatretrening og buldring.

Fantesteinen (the “Tramp Rock”) by Kvernagrova at Skiri in the Romsdalen Valley is situated close to the old road which is well preserved and now used as a touring road. Under this rock, tramps lived in the old days. Giant rocks rumbled down from the steep mountains of the Romsdalen Valley creating a shelter. Stories tell that due to the number of people who lived here, the train made it a regular stop! The beautiful Rauma River snakes its way past these rocks down the valley.
